Outbreak Radar — Live COVID, Flu, RSV & Measles Tracker

Outbreak Radar maps real-time disease activity across the United States using CDC wastewater surveillance data. Our interactive map displays current COVID-19, Influenza A, RSV, and Measles levels at 1,238 monitoring sites covering all 50 states and Washington D.C. — updated every week as the CDC publishes new data.

Unlike reported case counts, wastewater surveillance captures every infected person in a community — including those who never get tested. Viral RNA shed in sewage is detected at treatment plants days before hospitals see a surge, giving you an early warning signal for what's spreading near you. Each dot on the map is sized by the current week's concentration as a percentile of that site's own history, so you always see how today's levels compare to the past.
